Guy Bloch has always been the more adventurous one in our partnership – scuba diving in Egypt’s Red Sea, horse-riding in Namibia, driving the mountain roads of the south of France, motorcycling the Blue Ridge Parkway, camping in England’s Lake District, canoeing in Canada’s Algonquin Park. On the other hand he’s not averse to relaxing on a Mexican beach or taking his children on a cruise or sitting in an Italian piazza, cappuccino at hand, and watching the world go by. Derrick is a published travel-writer and photographer. Guy is an experienced motorcyclist. Guy, Kim and Derrick are all scuba-divers. But, most important, all three are passionate about travel – whether they’re the travelers or you are.
All three have traveled extensively: Europe, southern Africa, Turkey and the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Fiji, India and Egypt. They’ve cruised on French canal barges, small luxury cruise ships and mega-cruise ships. They've scuba-dived with whales in Turks and Caicos and explored the underwater ruins of the Roman Empire.

Basil Bloch first boarded an airplane back when the Douglas DC3 was the fastest and largest passenger plane in the skies (Los Angeles to New York took 14 hours, with three stops en route!) Basil passed away in November 2009. We miss him.
